Many women in their late 40s and 50s notice two changes at once: hot flashes or poor sleep, and a little leaking when they sneeze or rush to the bathroom. It is natural to wonder whether one supplement could help with both. Menovelle and FemiCore are often advertised to the same women, but they are built for different problems.
This page compares the two official websites fairly and explains which concern each one is aimed at. We have not tested either product, and nothing here is medical advice.
What is the difference between Menovelle and FemiCore?
The difference is the target. Menovelle is marketed for menopause: hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, weight gain and hormonal balance. FemiCore is marketed for bladder control and a balanced urinary microbiome. Their ingredient lists do not overlap at all.

Can one supplement help with both menopause and bladder leaks?
Neither product is designed or marketed to cover both. Menovelle's official site does not mention bladder control, and FemiCore's official site does not mention hot flashes. If you have both concerns, a single capsule is unlikely to address them.
Menopause and bladder leaks are connected in one important way, though. The NIDDK lists menopause as one of the life stages that can weaken the pelvic floor. That is why many women first notice leaks during perimenopause. The most effective response to that change is usually pelvic floor training, not a supplement.
Which has better evidence, Menovelle or FemiCore?
FemiCore's ingredients have somewhat more research than Menovelle's for their stated purpose, but neither has strong evidence, and neither formula has a published trial.
- For FemiCore, cranberry has the most data. NCCIH says it may lower the risk of repeat UTIs in women by about 25 percent, though results are inconsistent. That is research on infections, not on leaks.
- For Menovelle, we found no strong human research linking these mushrooms to menopause relief. The NCCIH menopause review does not list medicinal mushrooms among studied options and concludes that supplements have not been clearly shown to relieve symptoms.
Which one is safer?
Safety depends on your health and medicines, but FemiCore has more specific cautions on paper. It contains bearberry, which the European Medicines Agency limits to one week of use and says women with kidney disorders must not take. It also contains berberine, which NCCIH links to effects on medicines such as metformin and says can be harmful to newborns.
Menovelle's mushrooms are mostly foods. The concerns are mushroom allergies, use during cancer treatment (the National Cancer Institute advises checking with your doctor first) and the fact that mushroom species can be hard to tell apart without testing.
Both should be discussed with a doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, take regular medication or have a chronic condition.
Who might prefer Menovelle?
Menovelle may suit a woman who:
- Is mainly bothered by hot flashes, night sweats or mood changes
- Prefers to avoid plant estrogens such as soy, red clover and black cohosh
- Understands that the evidence for mushrooms in menopause is very limited
- Has already discussed proven options, including hormone therapy, with her doctor

Who might prefer FemiCore?
FemiCore may suit a woman who:
- Is mainly bothered by leaks or urgency, and has ruled out an infection
- Does not have kidney disease and is not pregnant or breastfeeding
- Is also doing pelvic floor exercises or bladder training
- Wants a formula with named probiotic strains

How do the costs and terms compare?
Both products use the same package structure (2, 2+1 and 3+3 bottles), both show prices only in images, and both describe a 60-day money-back guarantee that starts on delivery. Both refund policies ask you to return all bottles with the packing slip, and both say return shipping is not covered. Both FAQs describe a one-time payment with no autoship.
The difference is the bonus guides: Menovelle's are about body shape and skin, while FemiCore's are about intimacy, digestion and mobility. Because both refund windows are 60 days from delivery and both policies suggest a three-month trial, note your delivery date if you order either one. Keep the packing slip, since both policies require it for a refund.
What should you do if you have both concerns?
Book one appointment and raise both concerns. A doctor or nurse practitioner can:
- Confirm that your symptoms are related to menopause and not to a thyroid, heart or bladder problem
- Discuss hormone therapy or non-hormone medicines for hot flashes, which MedlinePlus explains
- Refer you to a pelvic floor physical therapist for leaks
- Review any supplements you are considering against your medicines
